03-OCT-2016: The Department of Ilaj bit Tadbeer, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Aligarh Muslim University recently organized the Inaugural Function of the six-day programme on Continuing Medical Education (CME). This programme has been sponsored by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
The programme was auxiliary graced by the presence of illustrious Chief Guest, Prof K C Singhal, Former Vice Chancellor, NIMS University, Rajasthan, who talked about the management of 'Life-Style-Disorders' and their cure. He also talked about Regimental Therapy in Unani medicine.
Guest of Honour, Dr M Sikandar Hayat Siddiqui, Director, Unani Services Uttar Pradesh talked about the gaps present in Allopathy, which can be filled by alternative medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Saud Ali Khan, Principal, A K Tibbiya College emphasized the strength and importance of Unani Medicine. "Unani medicine is capable of delivering in areas, where the modern medicine is lacking," said Prof Khan.
Prof Mohd Anwar, Chairman, Department of Ilaj bit Tadbeer and Coordinator of the programme welcomed the delegates to the Inaugural Function. Prof Malik Mohammad Wamiq Amin, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine also welcomed all the delegates and participants of the CME.
Prof M M H Siddiqui, Convener of programme spoke on the importance of Ilaj-bit-Tadbeer and how it is helpful in maintaining health.
Prof Asia Sultana, Co-Convener conducted the programme and delivered the vote of thanks.
