24-OCT-2016: Aligarh Muslim University's Assistant Professor, Dr Mehdi Hayat Shahi, Interdisciplinary Brain Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine recently delivered a talk on 'Identification of Novel Transcription Factors in the Tumorigenesis of most common Pedriatic Brain Tumour Medulloblastoma' at the XXXIV Annual Conference of Indian Academy of Neurosciences (IAN), National Brain Research Centre, Manesar, Gurgaon.
While speaking at the Conference, Dr Shahi talked about innovative approach and identity potential therapeutic targets for the most common pediatric brain tumour medulloblastoma by targeting sonic hedgehog cell signaling transcription factors.
Dr Shahi's talk and research accomplishments were appreciated and well- received by delegates from various parts of the world.
This programme was the largest Indian neuroscience annual meeting. Over 400 delgates from India and abroad were present on the occasion.
