12-NOV-2016: Department of Tashreeh-wa-Munafeul-Aza, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University today started two-days National Workshop on Teaching and Research Methodology in Munafeul Aza (Physiology). The Inaugural function was held in the Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College Auditorium.
Prof Mohd Fahim, Adjunct Professor Physiology, HIMSR, New Delhi, who attended the Programme as the Chief Guest said that the topic of the seminar also has clinical importance in a big way.
Prof Usha Singhal, Former Dean, Faculty of Medicine, JNMC, AMU, who was the Guest of Honour on the occasion, said that Teaching Methodology has an immense importance and this methodology should be implemented in the class rooms.
While presiding over the programme, Prof M Wamiq Amin, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine pointed that research work is the backbone of teaching and we are actively involved in improving the research work in the Unani Medicine Faculty.
Prof Saud Ali Khan, Principal Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College wished for the success of the Workshop.
Prof Iqtidarul Hasan Zaidi, Organizing Chairman of the Workshop said Physiology is a fundamental subject and our ancestors realized its importance to incorporate this subject in Unani Medicine.
Dr Farooq Ahmad Dar, Organizing secretary of the workshop conducted the event and proposed the vote of thanks.
Prof Anees Ismail, Prof Tajjudin, Prof Naeem A Khan, Prof Misbahuddin, Prof Abdul Mobeen Khan, Prof Safdar Ashraf, Dr Younus Siddiqui, Dr B D Khan, Dr Ammar, Dr Nadeem and Dr Aziz were also present.
