20-DEC-2016: The Vice Chancellor Lt. General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) inaugurated the waiting room of Allama Iqbal Boarding House for parents and guardians who visit their children and wards. The Waiting Room is equipped with all the facilities required to make it comfortable for parents and other visitors. The need of such a designated place for parents to meet their wards was being felt for long.
Speaking on the occasion the Vice Chancellor exhorted the students to take optimum advantage of all the facilities provided to them in Boarding House and School. While interacting with head boy and other post holders the Vice Chancellor expressed happiness over disciplined and decent environment in School and Boarding House. He urged the students to join army if they have passion to serve their country and community with pride. The Vice Chancellor apprised the students of pride and privileges attached with career in army.
The Vice Chancellor also visited the playground of AIBH where the Football and Basketball matches were on, he talked to the players and motivated them to give their best in whatever career they choose for themselves, the sports can also be a better career option, the V.C. pointed out.
The Principal Maj S M Mustafa (Retd.) briefed the Vice Chancellor about the academics and co-curricular activities of the School and AIBH. Prominent among those who were present in the inaugural ceremony were Prof. Mohammad Gulrez, Director, DSE, Prof. Mohammad Mohsin Khan, Proctor, AMU, Prof. Anwar Khursheed, University Engineer, Prof. Yusuf Uzzaman Khan, COE, Prof. Omar Farooq, Dy. Director, DSE, Prof. S. Ali Jafar Abdi, MIC, Health Services, Prof. Mohammad Rihan, MIC, Electricity. The teaching staff who were present on the occasion include Dr. Arib Ali Khan, Mr. Ashhad Jamal Nadvi, Mr. Razi-Ul-Hasan Zaidi, Dr. Yogesh Kumar, Dr. Syed Salman Ali, Dr. Younus Ali Khan and Mr. Ghufran Ahmad.
