16-MAR-2017: RCA, AMU and Deutsher Akademischer Austaunsch Dienst (DAAD) jointly organise interactive session on ?Opportunities for Higher Education and Research in Germany?
Aligarh, March 16: The Residential Coaching Academy, Aligarh Muslim University in association with Deutsher Akademischer Austaunsch Dienst (DAAD), German Academic Exchange Service today organised an interactive session on ?Opportunities for Higher Education and Research in Germany? at the RCA Conference Hall. AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) chaired the session.
While presiding over the function, General Shah encouraged students to avail opportunities of higher education in German Universities.
Ms Manisha Mudgil (Senior Advisor, Alumni Affairs, DAAD, India) discussed the goals and tasks of DAAD. During the interactive session, Ms Mudgil spoke on courses, fee, scholarship and living expenses in Germany. Ms. Manisha with her colleague, Ms Pooja Midha also answered queries of students regarding PhD opportunities, fee, scholarship and living expenses in Germany.
The session commenced with a short welcome note by Prof Md Kalimuddin Ahmad, Director, RCA. He explained briefly about DAAD fellowship and higher educational opportunities in Germany for Indians.
Meanwhile, Mr Rizwan Ansari, who has recently qualified Uttarakhand Judicial Services, was felicitated by the Vice Chancellor. He was presented a memento by the Vice Chancellor as a token of love and sweet memories from RCA.
Dr Syed Tehseen Raza, Assistant Director, RCA proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Asif Khan, Assistant Director, RCA and Dr Shoeb Ahmad, Assistant Professor, RCA were also present on the occasion.
