AMU receives Rs 11, 61, 782 from Late Mr A M Shah?s will
Aligarh, March 20: Aligarh Muslim University has received an amount of Rs 11, 61, 782 in the M U Deposit account from Late Mr A M Shah?s (IPS retd) will for the education of financially weak and orphan students to continue their education. Late Mr Shah was the uncle of AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) and Life Founder, Trustee of Habibia A M Shah Educational Health and Welfare Charitable Trust, Meerut.
The will stated that after the death of the Founder Trustee and Manager Trustee, Late Mr Shah, the whole amount of the Trust shall be transferred in the account of Aligarh Muslim University for continuing the aims of the Trust by utilising the income earned on investment on the said amount for the education of financially weal and orphan students.
