Mr Mohd Anis, Assistant Director, IRMRA visits AMU
Aligarh, April 24: Mr Mohd Anis, Assistant Director, Indian Rubber Manufactures Research Association (IRMRA) recently visited the Department of Applied Chemistry, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, AMU to interact with the MSc (Polymer Science and Technology) students on ?Employability Skill Session: Opportunities in Rubber Industry? and to conduct a Rubber Management School Admission Test (RMSAT).
On the occasion, Mr Anis explained that a very few people in India are aware of the ?Rubber Technology? as an emerging career option.
?India has now over 7,000 rubber manufacturing units (including big tyre industries) and with the increasing number of automobiles and increasing use of rubber products in industries, rubber technology has become a lucrative career option,? said Prof Anis adding that rubber industry is looking for persons with managerial skills and technical background.
Meanwhile, MSc (Final year) students appeared in the RMSAT with great enthusiasm and showed interest in summer training and internship offered by IRMRA.
