26-APR-2017: SN Hall organises Annual Hall Function and Prize Distribution
Aligarh, April 26: The Sarojini Naidu Hall (SN Hall), Aligarh Muslim University recently organised, ?Zoreza?, the Annual Hall Function and prize distribution, in which AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) was the Chief Guest, while AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (Veteran) was the Guest of Honour.
Meanwhile Mrs Sabiha Simi Shah and Mrs Rizwana Ali attended the function as special guests.
On the occasion, General Shah said that since girl students are the leading light for future generation, AMU?s girl students remain our top priority and there is no doubt that our girl students will represent their Alma Mater in the best possible ways.
He added that the university wants to make sure that all our students including the girls get the best of facilities for academic and extra-curricular pursuits. ?The University administration is always trying the best to provide students with the best for the preparations of competitive exams and necessary training for their careers,? further said General Shah.
Professor Tamkin Khan, Provost, SN Hall said that the present administration has worked tirelessly to bring the best facilities for students. She added that during the tenure of the present administration, the university has achieved new heights in academic standards.
Ms Sameen Mansoor Mirza, Senior Hall, presented the Annual Hall Report, while Ms Malik Beenish Iqbal, Senior Hall Monitor proposed the vote of thanks.
Ms Kulsum Alam, Ms Sanuja Sheereen, Ms Sumaira Sadeed and Nidhi Rani were enthusiastically involved in making the programme, successful.
