Biotechnology students succeed in qualifying various national level examinations
ALIGARH May 6: Fourteen out of fifteen students of M.Sc. Biotechnology of the Aligarh Muslim University, enrolled at the Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit (IBU), have qualified DBT-JRF, CSIR-UGC NET, GATE and other national level examinations in the current academic year.
Professor Rizwan Hasan Khan, Coordinator, IBU, told that Khushbu Islam, Haris Ahsan Safdari, Shahid Ali Wani and Wajahat Ali Khan have qualified for UGC JRF while Sadia Malik, Haris Ahsan Safdari and Sidra Khan succeeded in bagging CSIR JRF.
Ashima, Aiman Masroor, Wajahat Ali Khan, Vivek Kumar Sharma and Abdul Hasan have qualifiesd for DBT-JRF whereas 13 out of 15 students have cracked the GATE examination and three, Sadia malik, Arpit Prashar and Vivek Kumar Sharma qualified the NET examination.
Prof. Khan has congratulated all the students and teaching staff on this achievement. He clarified that the IBU has taken serious initiatives to motivate and train the students for various competitive examinations.
