14-MAY-2017: Entrance test for Class XI held in Aligarh, five more cities
ALIGARH May 14: The Combined Admission Test for Class XI (Science)/Diploma in Engineering of the Aligarh Muslim University was conducted in a peaceful manner at 48 centres here today. More than forty two tousand candidates, including those applied for admission to Class XI (Science), Diploma in Engineering, Arts and Commerce appeared in the admission test. Aligarh Muslim University has also conducted the test for all the above streams at Lucknow, Srinagar (J&K), Patna and Meerut.
The Controller of Examination, Prof. Yusufuzzaman Khan appreciated the role of faculty members and other functionaries in conducting the test in a peaceful and orderly manner.
AMU had also deputed senior faculty members as observers. Some senior faculty members were appointed Overall Incharge at the centres located outside Aligarh to supervise the smooth conduct of admission test.
Special help centres were organized by the national Service Scheme (NSS) of the University at railway Station and other important places to provide guidance to the candidates.
The District Administration provided all necessary assistance to conduct the test in a smooth manner.
The parents of candidates appreciated the efforts of the University authorities to provide all types of help in smooth conduct of the test.
