General Shah inaugurates New Mass Communication Complex
Aligarh, May 15: Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) today inaugurated the New Mass Communication Complex. General Shah inaugurated the Complex in presence of AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Brigadier S Ahmad Ali (Veteran).
On the occasion, General Shah said that it is important to dream big for achieving bigger goals for the betterment of humanity. He added that similarly I have had this dream for making AMU as the best institute of higher learning in the country and I will always pray that AMU soon reaches this status.
The newly inaugurated Complex in the Department of Mass Communication will include four lecture halls, which will specifically be for lectures of Masters in Journalism and Mass Communications course. During the function, a documentary showing the achievements in the tenure of General Shah as the Vice Chancellor was screened. The production team of the documentary was applauded by the Vice Chancellor for their efforts.
Professor Afrina Rizvi, Chairperson, Department of Mass Communication; Professor N A K Durrani; Professor M Shafey Kidwai; Dr Pitabas Pradhan, Dr G K Sahu, Professor Asim Siddiqui, Professor Mohd Sajjad, Dr Ajay Besaria and scholars and students of the Department were also present on the occasion.
