13-OCT-2017: Malappuram Centre organises orientation programme for new BA LLB students
Aligarh, October 13: The Malappuram Centre of Aligarh Muslim University held its orientation programme for the newly admitted students in the BA LLB course. The programme took place at the Department of Law, Malappuram Centre.
On the occasion, Professor Abdur Rasheed KM (Director) briefed the new students about the academic and administrative structure. He urged students to excel in studies and career and contribute to their alma mater.
The programme had sessions, in which Prof Ahmed Iqbal V T (Principal, Al Ameen Law College, Palakkad) and Dr Mini S (Associate Professor, NUALS, Ernakulam) discussed rising demands for legal experts in various sectors. They also deliberated on aspects of legal education in India.
While welcoming the guests, Dr Faisal KP (Co-coordinator, Department of Law) emphasised the achievements of students and contributions of faculty members, saying that the Department of Law at the Malappuram Centre has established a rapport in a very short period.
Mr Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik inducted students to the contents of the five-year BA LLB course. Mr Mohd Abu Shahid explained the evaluation system of the university, while Mr Mohd Shakeel Ahmad spoke on the culture and tradition associated with AMU.
Mr Mohammad Ahazam Khan (Assistant Registrar) introduced students to facilities available to them. Dr Najmuddeen T proposed the vote of thanks.
