13-OCT-2017: AMAANA and AOU to conduct Research Day on 'Survive Sepsis'
Aligarh, October 13: The Aligarh Medical Alumni Association of North America (AMAANA) in collaboration with the Aligarh Open University (AOU) will conduct the 3rd Research Day on 'Survive Sepsis' at the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on October 27, 2017.
Speaking on AOU and AMAANA collaboration; AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor, who is also the AOU patron said that AOU is committed to connect university alumni spread all over the world with current students. He added that alumni are sharing their knowledge and experience with students through AOU.
Prof M Amanullah Khan (Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Principal, JNMC) has urged all JNMC doctors and medicine practitioners in the city to attend the event.
AMU Alumni, Professor Ananthakrishnan Ramani (Chief, Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, Columbia Memorial Hospital, New York) and Dr Syed Mohsin Ali Alvi (Harrington Memorial Hospital, Massachusetts) will deliver lectures during the programme.
Dr Alvi will also distribute cash prizes of US $1000 to the winners of a poster- presentation competition scheduled on the day. JNMC students are the participants of the event.
Prof Syed Ziaur Rahman (Coordinator, AOU) with his team is working tirelessly to make the event successful.
