Centre for Interfaith Understanding, AMU to organise Interfaith Conference in New Delhi and Aligarh
Aligarh, October 30: The Centre for Interfaith Understanding, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will organise an Interfaith Conference in New Delhi and Aligarh. The inaugural function of the conference is scheduled to take place at the Constitution Club, New Delhi on October 31, 2017.
AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor will preside over the inaugural function and will also deliver the inaugural address.
Prof Ali Mohammad Naqvi (Director, Centre for Interfaith Understanding) will give the inaugural address, while Mr Sachin Gupta (Chancellor, Sanskriti University) will speak during the brainstorming-session.
Scholars, religious leaders, academicians, dignataries and government officers such as Prof P N Shastri, Prof Merajuddin, Prof Ravinder Kumar, Dr Jeet Ram Bhat, Mr J K Sharma, Mr Vinay Kumar, Mr Zafar Mahmood, Raja Sahib Mahmudabad, Dr Cheema, Father Samuel, Shriharprasad Swami, Giyani Surinder Singh, Maulana Kalbe Sadiq, Swami Lokesh Muni, Swami Vrajendra Nanda Das, Maulana Mufti Mukarram, Swami Agnivesh, Maulana Touqeer Raz, Swami Shantamananda, Maulana Mahmud Madani, Archbishop Anil J T Couto and Swami Gyanananda ji Maharaj among others will deliver lectures during the conference.
