23-NOV-2017: Workshop held on ?How to Face an Interview?
ALIGARH November 22: The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University and Club for Short Evening Courses, Cultural Education Centre, in collaboration with Global Talent Track, the executive partner of Barclays and Nascom Foundation Employability Project, organized a workshop on ?How to face an interview? at Strachey Hall.
The workshop aimed at providing training to the students and making them aware of the skills needed to face an interview, the integral part of the recruitment process. The workshop focused on empowering students to perform better in interviews for job.
Inaugurating the workshop, Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General), discussed the challenges in corporate world faced by the candidates during interviews.
Adding that personality is the blend of one?s knowledge and inner conscience, Ms Naureen Chaudhary, Resource Person and Trainer, Global Talent Track, Mumbai urged the students to identify their personal strengths and weaknesses and prepare themselves to face challenging tasks during the recruitment process. Ms Chaudhary also stressed the importance of regular upgradation of conceptual and general knowledge.
Prof Parvez Talib, who was the moderator of the workshop, introduced the topic and provided answers to questions generally asked by employers during recruitment.
Around 350 students from various courses participated in the workshop.
Tooba Naz, an MBA first year student conducted the programme while Umair, a BCA second year student proposed the vote of thanks. Furqan Ahmad, Secretary, CSEC, CEC along with Shashank Sharma and Mohd Umair Rizwan Khan played important role in organizing the programme.
