Six AMU students selected for Access Summer Camp
ALIGARH December 28: Six students of Aligarh Muslim University schools have been selected for All India Access Summer Camp at International School Aamby Valley, Maharashtra, which will be held from January 10 to 16, 2018. The programme is organized by the American Council for International Education, in coordination with the US Embassy, New Delhi.
The students selected for this sought-after course include Syed M. Khizar, Mohd Ammar Abdullah and Mohd Shadab from Syedna Tahir Saifuddin School and Hiba Irfan, Faiza Rais and Azaa Junaid of AMU Girls? School
The camp will bring together 50 competitively selected Access students from different parts of India for one week of learning and fun. The objective of this youth exchange programme is to develop digital literacy skills, communication skills in English and inculcate important personality traits like leadership, teamwork, volunteerism and a sense of responsibility in students.
The selected students are part of the English Access Microscholarship Programme, jointly run by the Regional English Language Office, US Embassy, New Delhi and Aligarh Muslim University.
Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai, Director UGC Human Resource Development Centre has congratulated the students on their selection and advised them to perform their best at the camp and bring laurels to the University and their family.
