AMU gears up to send research scholars for Zonal Level and National Level competitions
Aligarh, January 7: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has geared up to send the best research scholars for participations in the Zonal Level and National Level competitions organised by Anveshan, Student Research Convention, Association of Indian Universities.
Prof Mohammad Sajjad Athar (Department of Physics, AMU and Convenor, Anveshan) said that research scholars will be selected from the categories of Agriculture; Basic Sciences; Engineering & Technology; Health Sciences and Allied Subjects, Pharmacy, Nutrition, etc and Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce and Law (Objective and Result Oriented Projects).
He added that a final list of students, who will be participating in the Zonal and National Level competitions, will be released on January 27, 2018. ?However, to make it in the final list, research scholars will have to do presentations in the University,? said Prof Athar adding that interested students have to send their abstracts in a 500 word limit with their one-page CV on firstname.lastname@example.org. The last date of abstract submission is January 17, said Prof Athar.
?The candidates will be informed of their selection by January 19 and they will later be required to present full length papers of A0 size poster on January 22,? said Prof Athar.
He further said that at least two or three best posters in each category will be short-listed for oral presentations to be held on January 25 in the University. ?A research scholar from each category will be selected from the oral presentations to participate in Zonal and National levels,? said Prof Athar.
