27-MAR-2018: Proctor Team, Interactive Session with Foreign Students
Aligarh, March 27: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) campus has a large number of student activities available for students who seek extracurricular involvement along with their academics. This meeting is to figure out the relationships between the different components of the university image and to what extent they may affect the students? satisfaction, said Prof. Mohd Mohsin Khan, Proctor AMU during Annual Interaction with foreign students.
During session he assured, he will resolve their legitimate demands through Vice Chancellor Prof. Tariq Mansoor. He added tha AMU administration is committed to take care of 585 foreign students.
Prof. Rashid Umar (Coordinator Foreign students), emphasing the need for such
meetings, said this exercise is to understand and resolve the problems of foreign
students and provide them with congenial atmosphere for academics.
Deputy Proctor , Prof. Mehmood S Khan talked about tangible steps taken by AMU administration to resolve the problems of foreign students and setting the relationships between the affective, cognitive and overall image in relation with satisfaction
AMU Students? Union President Maskoor Usmani and Hony. Secretary Mohd Fahad was also present on the occasion and shared pleasentaries with foreign students.
Many issues were discussed like hostels for foreign students, dinning problem , creating funds for needy students, increase in number of students intake , single window clearance , medium of teaching , procedures and formalities , credit system , admission time scheduling etc
Proctorial Team comprising Prof. Shamim , Prof. BB Singh, Dr. Mohd Tahir, Dr. Shafiullah, Dr. Anwar, Dr. Irfan, Dr. M A Khan, Dr. Amir, Dr. Sheeba Manzoor were also present during the session .
