18-APR-2018: JNMC faculties train medical students at Pre-Conference Workshop in Bareily
Aligarh, April 18: Department of Pharmacology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) faculty members, Prof Mohammad Nasiruddin (Chairperson) and Dr Irfan Ahmad Khan with Pharmacovigilance Associate, Mr Gufran Ali attended the Pre-Conference Workshop on ?Pharmacovigilance? of the 8th Annual Conference of UP-UK Chapter of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (UP-UK APPICON 2018) at the Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly where they trained medical students on aspects of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring.
Addressing the participants as resource person, Prof Mohammad Nasiruddin emphasized the sensitization of the healthcare professionals and medical students on spontaneous ADR reporting.
Dr Irfan Ahmad Khan delivered a talk on ?Causality assessment: Logic and Methods?, while Mr Gufran Ali spoke on ?Introduction to suspected ADR reporting Form and Consumer Reporting Form?.
