Dr Yasmin Saikia and Dr Chad Haines from Arizona State University to be resource persons at AAEP workshop
Aligarh, April 21: The Aligs? Academic Enrichment Programme (AAEP), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organises a workshop of ?Social Sciences and Humanities? in which Dr Yasmin Saikia and Dr Chad Haines from the Haines Arizona State University, USA are the resource persons. The two-day workshop scheduled on May 5 and 6 at the Conference Hall, Faculty of Social Sciences will have deliberations on ?Refracting Research: Scholarly Frames and Global Dialogues? and ?Strengthening Your Voice through Publications?.
Dr S Ziaur Rahman (Coordinator, AAEP) said that the workshop will assist participants in developing research questions with a focus on engaging with larger dialogues and issues in the field. He added that framing of analysis and interdisciplinary approaches will be in focus during the programme.
Dr Syed Tahseen Raza (Convener, AAEP) pointed out, ?The workshop will be interactive with examples and discussions on how to start and finish the publication process.?
