Dept of Surgery organises two-day Endo-Suturing and Knotting Skills course
Aligarh, May 21: Department of Surgery, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) in collaboration with Johnson and Johnson Ltd organised a two-day course on Endo-Suturing and Knotting Skills.
The course was conducted in a state-of-art, 'Johnson and Johnson on Wheels', Volvo Bus, which was equipped with a dozen work stations. Over 50 resident doctors were taught Endo-Suturing and Knotting Skills in the special bus.
Prof Mohammad Aslam (Chairperson, Department of Surgery) said that the skills learnt by participants will be used on live patients. He added that these simulation programs are becoming popular all over the world.
Prof Aslam thanked the Johnson and Johnson team for training JNMC residents. Prof M Habib Raza, Dr Yusuf Afaque and Dr Junaid Alam helped conducting the event.
