18-AUG-2018: Workshop held on use of English in competitive examinations
ALIGARH August 18: "Three things hold the key to success - command on your subject, smart communication in English and good knowledge of computer and any student having these three attributes will not fail in life", said Professor Khalid Zaman Khan, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, while addressing students as chief guest at the valedictory function of a three-day workshop held at Sir Syed Hall of residence in Aligarh Muslim University on "Use of English Language in Competitive Examinations".
Addressing on the occasion, guest of honour, Professor Waliur Rahman of Jazan University, Saudi Arabia urged the participants to attain excellence in English communication as it is a key to success both in employment and entrepreneurship. He said that importance of English language cannot be denied.
Earlier, welcoming the guests, Dr Badruddoja Khan, Provost of the Hall, highlighted the objectives of the workshop and presented a report on activities undertaken during the event.
Dr Khan expressed happiness on the large number of students attending the workshop. He said that another workshop on Research Methodology will be held in November.
Dr Abdul Aziz, Warden, conducted the programme while cultural secretary Mohammad Yaseen proposed a vote of thanks.
The chief guest and guest of honour gave away certificates of participation to more than 150 participants of the workshop.
