11-OCT-2018: Counseling session for AMU school students conducted by Prof Akbar Husain
ALIGARH October 11: Professor Akbar Husain conducted a counseling session for students of class IX to XII in all University schools to discuss problems of anxiety, stress and lack of motivation in students and sugested ways to alleviate these problems. Prof Husain highlighted the significance of mental health and urged the students to identify their weaknesses and causes of anxiety and stress and accept them as challenge.
The schools where Prof Husain conducted the counseling programmes include Saiyyid Hamid Senior Secondary School, Senior Secondary School (Girls), STS School, AMU City School, AMU Girls' School, AMU City Girls' School, ABK School for boys and girls, Ahmadi School for Visually Challenged.
During the counseling sessions, Prof Husain emphasized the importance of self realisation for making a successful career in life and urged the students to approach Students' Counseling Centre whenever they felt challenged by emotional stresses and anxiety.
