23-OCT-2018: Dept of ENT to conduct first 'Live Cochlear Implant and Cadaveric Temporal Bone Dissection' and Alumni Meet
Aligarh, October 23: Department of ENT, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) will conduct its first 'Live Cochlear Implant and Cadaveric Temporal Bone Dissection' in which electronic hearing medical devices will be placed inside the inner ears of deaf children on October 24. The procedure will be done free of cost for patients of lower economic strata.
The Department of ENT will also organise its Alumni Meet at the JNMC auditorium on October 24. AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof Tariq Mansoor and Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof M H Beg will attend the function as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Specialists from the Department of ENT and HNS, AIIMS, New Delhi, Prof Rakesh Kumar, Prof Saurabh Varshney and Dr Kapil Sikka are also attending the programme.
