16-NOV-2018: Health Camp at Shah Jamal organized by CCAEE: AMU?s Outreach Activities
Aligarh, November 16: Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension (CCAEE), in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), SOCH an NGO and Rahbar Foundation organized a Health Camp on the eve of Children?s Day at Shah Jamal, Aligarh.
The visiting team comprised of doctors from JNMC and the faculty members of the CCAEE.
Prof Mohammad Gulrez (Director, CCAEE), inaugurated the camp. Dr Aysha Munira Rasheed (Dy Director, CCAEE), Dr Shamim Akhtar and Ms Musharraf Jahan (Assistant Professors CCAEE), facilitated the programme.
The Residents and Interns were posted who examined the patients, viz., Dr Naveen Kumar (JR-III), Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan (JR-II), Dr Yasir Zubair (JR-I), Dr Tazeen Shamshad (JR-I), Dr Mohd Basit Ali, Dr Zainab, Dr Sharique Azam and Dr Shamil Muthood.
More than 200 local stakeholders consulted the doctors and they were provided free medicines at the Health Camp.
The local residents and local ward member, Shakeel Ahmad and Bhure Khan appreciated the initiative of the Centre.
