19-NOV-2018: Free Medical Camp organized by Department of Community Medicine at the outskirts of Aligarh
Aligarh, November 19: A Free Medical Camp was organized at the outskirts of Aligarh City by Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in collaboration with Adult Education Centre AMU, SOCH (NGO) and Rahbar Foundation. Around 200 patients were examined by the specialists and drug was dispensed to them free of cost.
The Camp was inaugurated by Prof. Mohammad Gulrez (Director, CCAEE), in presence of Dr Aysha Munira Rasheed (Dy Director, CCAEE), Dr Shamim Akhtar and Ms Musharraf Jahan
Prof. Ali Amir, Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine said that it is the right of every citizen to have access to essential health care.
Well oiled team of Doctors comprising, Dr Naveen Kumar, Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan, Dr Tazeen Shamshad, Dr Yasir Zubair, Dr Shaique, Dr Shamil, Dr Basit and Dr. Zainab offered consultancy and treatment to all the patients.
Prof Najam Khalique, Prof M. Athar Ansari, Dr Salman Khalil, Dr Subuhi Afzal, Dr. Saira Mehnaz, Dr Ali Jafar Abedi (Member-in-charge, UHTC) and Dr Urfi played an important role in organizing the camp.
Dr Uzma Eram (Member-in-charge, RHTC) and Dr Tabassum Nawab, Assistant Professor actively supported the team for the camp.
