20-NOV-2018: Disability Unit organises counselling programme
Aligarh, November 20: The Disability Unit, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised a group counselling program for the differently able students at the Conference Hall, Faculty of Social Science, in which their needs in the university and general issues concerning their learning were discussed.
Prof Akbar Husain, Dean, Faculty of social Science delineated issues related to human psychology and ways to overcome hurdles in life.
Prof Abdul Hamid Fazili, Department of Islamic Studies spoke on various issues concerning differently able students.
Prof Khalid Azam, Department of Business Administration discussed on how to transform shortcomings into strength.
Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer (General) spoke on career opportunities and motivated students to have positive attitudes.
Prof Khalid Bin Yusuf, Coordinator, Disability Unit thanked the speakers for interacting with the differently able students.
Students, Rahul and Aafiya Rizvi conducted the sessions.
