12-DEC-2018: Prof BP Singh delivers talk on heavy Ion collisions
ALIGARH December 12: Prof BP Singh, Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University attended the 13th International Conference on Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions (NN2018)" held at the Sonic City, Omiya, Saitama, Japan where he delivered a talk and presented a poster on the recent research work done by his group on the "Study of Incomplete Fusion Reaction Dynamics in Heavy-Ion Collisions". He also visited the RIKEN Nishina Centre for Accelerator-Based Science, one of the leading institutes for Radioactive Ion Beam facility.
Prof Singh is presently working on the experimental study of Heavy-ion Fusion Reactions with special emphasis on the incomplete fusion reactions using the Pelletron accelerator facilities in the country.
Prof Singh has published more than a hundred research papers in international journals and authored a book titled "Fundamentals and Applications of Heavy-ion Collisions", published by the Cambridge University Press.
