19-DEC-2018: Extra mural lecture held on Geriatrics
ALIGARH December 19: "Older people of 65 years' age and above generally have multiple medical problems including heart ailments, diabetes, arthritis, Alzheimer's disease and high blood pressure. There should be a dedicated medical consultancy service for them, managed by governmental and social groups", said Prof Kausar Usman, King George Medical University, Lucknow while delivering an extra mural lecture at the Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University. He also discussed the problems of elderly people and highlighted various ways of treatment and management of frailty.
Prof Abdul Mannan, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine presided over the lecture while Prof Saud Ali Khan, Principal, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College was the guest of honour.
Earlier, Prof Mohd Anwar welcomed the guests while Dr Abdul Aziz Khan conducted the programme.
The extra mural lecture committee members Dr Zameer Ahmad, Dr Ammar Ibne Anwar and Dr Mohd Saad managed the lecture session.
