28-DEC-2018: Moment becomes Memory: 4R?s Mantra exhibited at Silver Jubilee Reunion 1993
Aligarh, December 28:``A living institution makes an impact on everything it touches on the minds and dreams and characters of students, on the world of ideas and their practical application as we transfer knowledge and innovations to the world beyond our campus and on the communities with which we engage, locally and around the globe ``, said the Pro Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Prof MH Beg who was the chief guest on the inaugural function of Silver Jubilee Reunion MBBS 1993 Batch (Melange-2018) of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), AMU held recently at JNMC Auditorium .
The PVC a teacher of MBBS 1993 batch made an appeal to the alumni to come forward and help in the mission to make university excel in academics, research and other areas.
The morning session was also graced by Dean and Principal Prof SC Sharma of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), who emphasized the need of having a strong bond between the institution and their alumni to contribute and facilitate the betterment of the institution.
4R?s Mantra of the union; Revisit, Rewind, Refresh and Re-unite was seen in practice as the day was an opportune time for the classmates from way back, when to reminisce the joys and sorrows, the tears and the laughter they had together .
It was a nostalgic moment as the delegates from various countries and cities accompanied by their spouse and children went down the memory lane while narrating their days of stay in AMU
Dr Roobina khan the Organizing Chairperson while paying vote of thanks said that it is an occasion to share our experiences and learn from it. Alumni meet helps us to sit back and feel proud of the success of our alumni and also provide us reason to further strengthen the bond between the alumni and their alma mater.
As per the established tradition, teachers who taught the batch of 1993 were also honored.
Souvenir title Melange-2018 edited by Dr Roobina and Dr Jameel was also released on the occasion.
The organizing secretary of reunion Dr Jameel Ahmad (JNMC) and Dr Sabina from Jamia Hamdard conducted the program.
Dr Zia Siddiqi , Dr Sohail Ahmad, Dr Nema and Dr Uzma played the key role in the success of the event
