30-DEC-2018: Research Centre for Islamic History OIC, Istanbul gifts K A Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies rare copies of Holy Quran
Aligarh, December 30: The Research Centre for Islamic History OIC, Istanbul, Turkey has sent the first copies of the Holy Quran belonging to Usman Ibn Affan (RA) and Ali Ibn Abu Talib (RA); first copies of the Holy Quran in the British Museum (London), Bibliotheque Nationale (Paris), Tubingen (Germany) and Cairo (Egypt) and a World Bibliography of the translations of the Holy Quran in Manuscript form in three volumes to the K A Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies, Aligarh Muslim University.
"These works will be of much benefit to the researchers and all those interested in the Quran," said Prof A R Kidwai, Director, K A Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies.
