10-FEB-2019: Lecture held on patient care methods
ALIGARH February 10: Dr Farogh Mahmood, Consultant Physician, Saddlers Health Centre, Walsall, UK, delivered a lecture on ?How to improve education portfolio ? A journey through patient care? at the Faculty of Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University. The lecture was organized by the Aligs' Academic Enrichment Programme (AAEP).
In his lecture, Dr Farogh underlined the quality care of patients, responsibilities of health care providers and highlighted several methods of health care validation. He presented case examples of Calgary Cambridge model, Clinical audit, Gibbs reflective Learning cycle, Patients' satisfaction questionnaire and Multisource feedback. He further shared case review to demonstrate how doctors engaged in discussion to maintain and enhance the quality of their professional work.
Prof Asif Hasan, Director, Centre of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Research, presided over the programme while Prof Ziaur Rahman, Coordinator, AAEP, introduced the guest speaker and Prof M U Rabbani felicitated him with a memento.
A large number of faculty members and residents of the J N medical College attended the lecture.
