16-MAR-2019: Dental Health Mela Concludes
Aligarh, March 16: The second day of Dental Health Mela witnessed the enlightenment of students of Ahmadi School for the Visually Challenged about Dental Hygiene. They were given demonstration about the dental hygiene practice like proper tooth brushing through health talks. Free dental health check-up was also organized and tooth pastes were distributed among them to encourage oral hygiene.
Prize distribution ceremony was organised which was attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof MH Beg, Mrs Pro-Vice Chancellor, Ex-Principal Dental College Prof SH Hashmi and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Prof MH Beg said that such activities which are the part of extracurricular activities make the body healthy and keeps the brain fresh which contribute to the overall personality development of the students.
Highlighting the remarkable job done by the Mela Committee for making the Dental Health Mela a success, Prof RK Tewari (Principal ZADCH) appreciated the students for their performances in various activities.
The teachers' in-charge of various events was honoured by presenting the memento.
The certificates and prizes were distributed by Prof MH Beg.
The most awaited title Batch of the year was awarded to batch 2017. Mr Quindeel and Miss Quindeel were bagged by Iffat Khan and Shivali Aggarwal respectively.
First time newsletter, (Dental Buzz) edited by Adeela Majid (batch-2016) was also released.
The President of College Society MD Suleman Khan (batch-2015) welcomed the guest and Maryam Aziz (batch-2016) presented the college week report.
The evening was concluded by vote of thanks by Vice-President Heba Ansar (batch-2016).
