30-MAR-2019: Asaas'19 concludes
Aligarh, March 30: Asaas'19, Annual Fest of Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) came to a closure after three days of interactive sessions with entrepreneurs, debates, musical performances, blood, stationery and food donation drives and cultural, art, off-beat and other technical and management events focussed on providing conducive atmosphere of learning and absorbing knowledge and skills.
On the inaugural day, the guests, Mr Ajay Deep Singh (Commissioner, Aligarh division) and AMU alumnus, Mr Shamim Ahmad Khan (Additional Commissioner, Aligarh) urged students to learn the art of self-motivation for succeeding in life.
Prof Parvaiz Talib (Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Research) appreciated students for organising the event, while Prof Ayesha Farooq delivered the welcome address.
On the first day, students interacted with young entrepreneurs, Sadiya Naseem (CEO, Glam Studios) Darakshan Khannam (COO, Glam Studios) and Vibhooti Chauhan (CEO, YPNAX). An art exhibition and a musical performance by Sheeban and Qafila band followed.
A debate on 'The World is Turning Blind Eye towards Civil War Refugees' took place on the second day followed by creative writing competition, talent hunt show other sports and cultural activities.
The fest concluded with a quiz competition and musical performance by Fusion band. Sohaib Zaman (Convener of the event) and Yasir Ahmad (Co-convenor) also spoke on the occasion.
