23-APR-2019: AMU B. Tech students and teacher receive best paper award
Aligarh, April 23: Two B. Tech (Computer Engineering) students of Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Ms Zeenat Farheen and Ms Taiba Basit and a faculty member, Mr Muneeb Hasan Khan (Assistant Professor, department of computer engineering) received the best paper award in the International Conference on 'Digital Pedagogies: Changing Mindsets for Sustainable Learning-2019' sponsored by World Bank Group, Microsoft, UNESCO, NPIU, AICTE and MHRD at the AICTE Auditorium, New Delhi.
They jointly presented a paper on 'A Novel Android Based Application for Collaborative Learning in Colleges'. The paper delineated the collaborative learning process in colleges between teachers and students with the help of social media.
Prof M Sarosh Umar (Chairman, department of computer engineering) said that the award will encourage students to pursue interest in research and motivate teachers to groom their students.
