01-MAY-2019: Certificates distributed at workshop on accounts presentation skills
ALIGARH May 1: Prof M H Beg, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, distributed certificates to the participants of a week-long training workshop on Accounts Presentation Skills, Noting and Drafting (2019-20) held for AMU Finance Office staff members. The workshop was organized by the Centre for Academic Leadership and Educational Management (CALEM), UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, AMU.
In his address, Prof Beg said that learning is a continuous process and every person should keep learning to manage his affairs in a better manner. He stressed that noting and drafting was an important job in accounts section and people working in such positions should keep themselves updated with the changing rules and regulations and other policy frameworks. He hoped the workshop will help improve the working culture in the finance and accounts department of the University.
Prof Badar Alam Iqbal, course coordinator, said that finance and accounts related affairs were of crucial nature in an organization and to address them efficiently, it was essential for the staff to be equipped with ample knowledge of the subject and diligence.
Guest of honour, Finance Officer, Prof S M Javed Akhtar and Centre's director, Prof A R Kidwai also expressed their views on the occasion.

Senior faculty members, including Prof Mohd Yameen, Prof Salma Ahmad, Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Prof Khalid Azam, Prof S Inamul Haque and Dr M Asif, were the resource persons in the workshop, attended by 31 staff members of the finance and accounts section of the University.
