04-MAY-2019: NCERT approves AMU City School teacher
Aligarh, May 4: Mr A M Ibrahim Ansari, a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) of Physics at the City School, Aligarh Muslim University aims to address and solve challenging problems differently as his action research proposal on 'Using Demonstrative Audio Video Clips to Improve Physics Lab Reports of Senior Secondary Students of AMU City School' has been approved by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi.
He has now been asked to submit the extensive research report on the topic, which will later be implemented by the NCERT.
Mr Ansari submitted the proposal during the online NCERT Action Research Course Course-2018-19, an online training program for teachers to train in conducting the action research to address educational issues. He was one of the five teachers from various schools of Uttar Pradesh selected for the online course.
"I have completed the professional development course with the approval of my proposal for Action Research with highest grade," said Mr Ansari.
He added that instead of being destined to be followers of moving targets set by others, it is important that teachers find ways to improve the standards of education and consistently bringing the curriculum to life to engage students.
It was his second consecutive professional development course. In 2018, Mr Ansari completed Educational Leadership Course from NPTEL and SWAYAM, conducted by IIT Kharagpur with 87 percent marks.
