19-JUN-2019: MEU organises Orientation Programme
Aligarh, June 19: The Medical Education Unit (MEU), Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised the Orientation Programme for newly admitted post-graduate students in which they were briefed on BLS/ACLS, infection control practices, duties and responsibilities in emergency room, blood components, prescription writing and record keeping among other top topics.
Prof S C Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Medicine talked about hopes and expectations from the newly admitted students, while Prof Seema Hakim, Coordinator, Medical Education Unit emphasised the importance of communication skills in patient care.
Prof S Manazir Ali (MEU co-coordinator), Prof Shagufta Moin, Dr Nasreen Noor, Dr Jameel Ahmad, Dr Ruhi Khan, Dr Deoshree Akhouri, Dr Adil Raza, Dr Fatima Khan, Dr M Imran also spoke on the occasion.
Prof Zehra Mohsin, Prof S H Arif, Prof S Manazir Ali, Dr Asad Mahmood, Dr Mohammad Salman Shah, Dr Jameel Ahmed and Dr Fatima Khan were the resource persons.
Prof Syed Moied Ahmed (Chairman, department of anaesthesiology) with his team helped organising the programme.
Prof Manazir Ali proposed the vote of thanks.
