08-JUL-2019: AMU faculty attends conference in Russia
Aligarh, July 8: Prof Bhanu Prakash Singh, Department of Physics, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) attended an International Conference, 'Nucleus-2019' in Dubna, Russia where he spoke on recent advances in nuclear physics and tools for new knowledge, competencies, innovation and applications during two panel discussions.
In the conference, Prof Singh presented research work done by him and other AMU teachers on 'Study of Incomplete Fusion Reaction Dynamics in Heavy-Ion Collisions'. The conference focused on 'Nuclear Spectroscopy and Nuclear Structure, Fundamental Problems of Nuclear Physics, Nuclei at Borders of Nucleon Stability and High Technologies'.
As an experimental nuclear physicist, Prof Singh is working on the study of heavy-ion fusion reactions.
He has published numerous research papers in international journals and has presented many of these in various countries.
Prof Singh is the author of 'Fundamentals and Applications of Heavy-ion Collisions' published by Cambridge University Press (October 2018).
