07-SEP-2019: AMU City Girls High School celebrates Teachers' Day
Aligarh, September 7: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) City Girls High School celebrated the Teachers' Day on September 5 with a special assembly by the students. The theme of the programme highlighted the contribution of teachers in student's life.
Students performed a scintillating cultural show to showcase the love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work of teachers.
A cultural programme was also organised by the school teachers on this special day.
Prof Asfar Ali Khan, Director, Directorate of Schools Education was the Chief Guest, while Prof Shahab Fazal, Deputy Director and Dr Anwar Shahzad, Assistant Director were the Guests of Honour.
Prof Asfar Ali Khan shared his experiences as a teacher with the audience and highlighted the responsibilities of a teacher to develop modern and developed society.
Prof Shahab Fazal urged the teachers to impart education so that the students could come to the main stream and walk together with the society.
Dr Anwar Shahzad said that the students of the school can make their presence in the dynamic society.
All teachers of the school enjoyed the fun filled activities that made the celebration a success.
