11-SEP-2019: CCAEE observes International Literacy Day
Aligarh, September 11: Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extention (CCAEE), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) marked the International Literacy Day on the theme, 'Literacy and Multilingualism' with a poster-making competition on 'Unity in Diversity' to raise awareness and remind people of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights.
Nearly four dozen boys and girls participated in the competition as learners and stakeholders.
Prof Mohammad Gulrez, Director, CCAEE remarked that this program is aimed to bring stakeholders in the mainstream.
Prof Aysha Munira Rasheed, Deputy Director, CCAEE; Dr Shamim Akhtar and Ms Musharraf Jahan, organized the programme. Dr Hina Fatima Moinee and Ms Alisha Ibkar were the judges of the competition.
