11-OCT-2019: Revised penal rates for University accommodations yet to be vacated
Aligarh, October 11: The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has revised the per-month penal rates of its accommodations, which have not been vacated after employee's retirement, resignation, expiry of deputation, dismissal or removal from service and death of licensee.
Former employees and their families, who are yet to vacate A-type houses after six months grace period, will now pay Rs 18 000 per month for the first six months of over staying. The penal rates will increase to 21 000, Rs 24 000 and Rs 27 000 respectively in every six months.
Rs 15 000 will be the per month penal rate after the grace period in case of overstaying in AB-type houses. The amount will increase to Rs 18 000, Rs 21 000 and Rs 24000 in every six months period to follow.
Overstay in the B-type houses will lead to Rs 10 500 for the first six months followed by increase of Rs 13 500, Rs 16 500 and Rs 19 500 respectively in every six months.
In the C-type houses, overstaying will lead to a penal rate of Rs 7 500, Rs 10 500, Rs 13 500 and Rs 16 500 in consecutive six month periods to come.
The penal rate for D-Type houses has been fixed to Rs 6 000, Rs 9 000, Rs 12 000 and Rs 15 000 respectively for every six months.
Rs 3 750, Rs 6 000, Rs 9 000 and Rs 11 250 respectively is the penal rate for every six month period for E-type houses.
In the F-type houses, the occupants will have to pay Rs 2 250 in the first six months following the grace period. The penal rate will increase to Rs 4 500, Rs 6 750 and Rs 9 000 in every six month period.
In all the types of houses, the occupants will have to pay penal rates with a 10 percent increase following two years of post-retirement stay.
