22-OCT-2019: Reliance hires AMU students
Aligarh, October 22: As Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) continues to attract a flock of top employers, the Reliance Group hired 11 students pursing B Tech courses in electronics and computer sciences streams to work in Mumbai as Deputy Managers.
They are Vaibhav Singh Jadon (B Tech Computer Science), Tooba Afreen (B Tech Computer Science), Navdeep Nainwal (B Tech Electronics), Aakash Singh (B Tech Electronics), Deepanshi Agarwal (B Tech Electronics), Kartik Varshney (B Tech Electronics), Bhuvi Sharma (B Tech Electronics), Shardul Yadav (B Tech Electronics), Lubna Arif (B Tech Electronics), Rahul Jha (B Tech Electronics) and Deepal Sachdeva (B Tech Electronics).
These students were recruited in a placement drive organized jointly by the Training and Placement Office (General) and the Training and Placement Office of the Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology.
Welcoming Reliance officials in the campus, AMU Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof Akhtar Haseeb apprised the visitors about various education areas and streams taught in AMU, which might be of their interest for future employments and academic collaborations.
He also spoke on the cultural heritage of AMU.
"The Reliance team led by Mr Deverpen Sen, General Manager, Human Resource selected the students after several rounds of tests and interviews in which their skills, strengths and general professional abilities were put through their paces," said Mr Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Office (General).
