Roomana N. Siddiqui is a social psychologists and is broadly interested in issues of social relevance. She obtained her doctoral degree in the area of Environmental Psychology from the Center of Advanced study in Psychology, University of Allahabad. She has worked with international collaborators on projects of significance. Her research articles have been published in reputed international and national journals like Environment and Behavior, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, European Journal of Personality, Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology, Psychological Studies, Psychology and Developing Societies and Indian Psychological Abstracts and Review.
Her current line of research includes issues related to environment, identity and intergroup relations and identifying the shared spaces between diverse groups which has implications for intergroup harmony. Her teaching interests include Applied Social Psychology, Environmental Psychology, Intergroup Relations, Personality, Experimental Psychology, Adjustment and Mental Health and Research methodology.
