Mr. Sharif Kidwai, a student of B. Tech. (II), Electrical Engineering and Mr. Belal Siddiqui, student of B. Tech. (III), Chemical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, have received gold medal and certificate of excellence for paper presentation in the International Research Conference on Science, Health and Medicine-2014 (IRCSHM-2014).

Ms Mumtaz Riyasat, Research Scholar, Department of Mathematics, has won the "Aruna Gupta Prize for Best Paper Presentation of the Year 2014" in the International Conference on Special Functions and their Applications (ICSFA-2014), held at Thapar University, Patiala.

The prestigious Vodafone has selected sixty six students of B.A/ B. Sc/B. Com (final year) in a Campus placement drive for the students. The selected students included fifty one girls and fifteen boys.

Dr. Shraddha Rathi, Assistant Professor, Department of Prosthodontics had been sanctioned a research project titled "Role of Vitamin D and L- Carnitine on muscle tonicity amongst edentulous" by Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR). The duration of the project is 3 years and the amount sanctioned by ICMR is Rs 9,78,750/-.

 

Dr Qazi Fariduddin, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, received the Raman Fellowship of UGC to visit USA for one year under Indo-US 21st Century Knowledge Initiative for conducting advance research in Molecular Biology in relation to Food Security at Michigan State University, USA.
